These Utsumi Strips are a great alternative for stripping knives for both professionals and beginners!  This reasonable strip is the ideal plucking tool.  It feels very light in the hand and is perfect for hand stripping coats.  Unlike a stripping knife, the Utsumi Strip does not have teeth but a special grit coating.  It will not cut hairs and is an excellent tool for hand stripping puppies and show dogs.

Small stick designed for the fluffy coat of a wire-haired puppy and for other coats that need to be hand stripped (cocker spaniels and setters).  Helps you to grip the hair more easily.  Ideal when each individual hair is important and needs to be plucked from tip to root, or to correct damaged coats.
